Constantin Martinsdorf has been admitted to the bar since 2016. He advises private individuals, executives, and medium-sized companies, with a focus on employment law as well as media and copyright law. A particular emphasis of his practice lies in internationally oriented and cross-border matters.
He developed his international perspective at an early stage during his studies. In 2008/2009, he completed a semester abroad as a scholarship holder of the University of Cologne at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, focusing on international and Chinese employment law. This was followed in 2014 by a further academic stay at Sun Yat-sen University, with a focus on international and Chinese patent law. During his legal traineeship, he also worked at the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Guangzhou.
Since 2023, Mr. Martinsdorf has been a partner at Bietmann Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater PartmbB and heads the legal department at the Bergisch Gladbach office. In addition, he serves as conference chair of the nationally renowned Erfurter Tage des Arbeitsrechts.
He is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of the Chinese language. Mr. Martinsdorf is a member of the German-Chinese Lawyers’ Association and the Cologne Bar Association.
